Instructions for presentations

Oral presentations:

Each oral presentation has been allocated a time slot of 15 minutes including discussions (12 min talk + 3 min discussion).

Invited speakers have a time slot of 25 minutes including discussions (20 min talk + 5 min discussion)

Presenters should send the file with their presentation to the conveners of their session latest on October 23 17:00.

Please provide your presentation in either MS Power Point or Adobe PDF format.

For questions, please contact the conveners for your session (for e-mail adresses see below).

Poster presentations:

The poster boards are 1.20 m wide and 1.60 m high (portrait format). Please keep your poster within these limits.

The posters will be displayed outside the conference room. We would like you to set up your poster during the registration on Tuesday morning.

All posters will be up during the whole conference.

During the plenary poster sessions, all presenters will have the opportunity to draw attention to their poster by a “Poster Flash Talk”. The presentation has to be VERY SHORT (1 minute MAX, 2 slides MAX). The authors should focus only on the main aim of the research and only mention key findings or show a compelling graph. The purpose of the flash talk is to encourage the audience to view the poster and to discuss the research with the author during the allocated time slots.

The Poster Flash Talks (power point or PDF) must be sent to the conveners of the poster sessions before the start of the conference (23 October latest).

For questions, please contact the conveners (for e-mail adresses see below).
